Repurpose unused or underutilized GC hardware to address current needs and save on bench space!

For underused or unused GC instruments sitting around taking up space, the option to reconfigure an existing GC gives purpose to valuable hardware and avoids waste. This instrument saves on bench space not having to buy another instrument to meet your lab’s needs.
When laboratory finances can be tight, the reconfigured GC option reduces the overall cost compared to purchasing a new instrument making that analysis more feasible.
Most GC manufacturers and vendors will be limited in selling only new instruments and do not repurpose or reconfigure older GCs. Wasson believes in providing options and can configure a variety of set ups.
Wasson can either completely change out the method(s) on an existing GC with new applications or add/upgrade additional methods to the current set up. For example, Wasson can add sulfur analysis to an existing refinery gas analyzer (RGA) for additional compliance with ASTM D5504 and D5623.
This option provides flexibility and cost savings and typically has a quicker turnaround for urgent projects.
Wasson-ECE’s reconfigured GCs are available for 7890 and 8890 Agilent GC models and can encompass a variety of applications, either as dedicated instruments or combined to include multiple detectors, analytical trains, and compliance methods (including ASTM, ISO, GPA, EPA and GOST methods).
